The Risk Data Analyst I is an entry-level position within the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department. This role involves supporting the collection, analysis, and reporting of risk-related data. The analyst will assist in maintaining data accuracy and integrity, performing routine data processing tasks, and supporting senior analysts with various risk management activities. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to follow established procedures. Job Category Accounting Job Objectives Data Collection and Entry: Gather and compile risk data from various internal sources. Perform data entry tasks ensuring accuracy and completeness. Data Processing and Analysis: Assist in processing and analysing risk data under supervision. Use basic statistical tools and software for preliminary data analysis. Data Quality Assurance: Conduct routine data quality checks and identify discrepancies. Report any data quality issues to senior analysts or managers. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of data collection and analysis activities. Prepare basic reports and summaries for review by senior analysts. Support Risk Assessments: Assist senior analysts in conducting risk assessments. Provide data and analysis to support risk identification and evaluation. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate progress and findings to supervisors and team members. Collaborate with other team members to ensure data consistency and accuracy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Science , Statistics, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field or equivalent experience – (essential). Experience 1+ years demonstrated experience in a similar role, internships or relevant coursework in data analysis or risk management. Strong understanding of data analytics, data management, and data governance principles and best practices. Knowledge and Skills Proficiency in data analytics tools and software (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau) and Microsoft Office Suite.
