Are you someone who can:

Assessment and decisioning of group risk PHI and CI claims
Liaison with the Members, Employer, Reinsurers and 3rd party providers
Driving return to work of Members with short duration disabilities
Driving early intervention strategies for Members who are incapacitated but not disabled yet, to prevent a claim
Liaising with Occupational Therapists and all other rehabilitation service providers involved in managing a claim.
Dealing with declines, disputes and Ombud enquiries including litigation matters
Section 14 transfer liability handling for incoming and outgoing scheme
Broker and intermediary relations
Product and process training to Funds as and when required.
Periodic reporting on claims statuses and portfolio trends

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

At least 5 years' medical claims assessment experience
Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Biokineticist academic background
Worked in a Group Risk Environment
Experience in dealing with Employers, Members, Fund Trustees/Principal Officer, Ombudsman /PFA and general complaints handling.
