DescriptionHire Resolve's client is looking for a Risk and Compliance Specialist to join their team in the North West. The role of the Risk and Compliance Specialist includes, but is not limited to, managing the compliance register and ensuring the updating of all legislative compliance and implementing the Ethics strategy. Coordinate activities with other disciplines to accomplish levels of sustainable development to include Sustainability (Social and Economic), SHERQ, Risk Management, Climate change, and Compliance.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Governance, Risk and Compliance Management or equivalent qualificationA minimum of 5 years' experience and familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), operational risk, ethics, and regulatory complianceSupport system configuration for the Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)Provide support to system users on Compliance and ERMSupport and facilitate compliance assessmentsEnsuring that ethical procedures are implemented and consistently adhered to throughout the organizationMaintain the ethics culture and enforcement of Code of Conduct & EthicsOffer support to ensure all aspects of the company's operations are consistent with the company's code of ethicsSupport the Contracts specialist in the maintenance of the legal compliance responsibilityMaintain and update the Company Wide policy registerMaintain and update company-wide operational and strategic risk registersAbility to research new legislation and analyze how it might impact the companyBe familiar with the legislative landscape and various regulations requirementsAbility to report on company progress towards compliance and highlight shortcomingsUnderstand risk management related compliance for the companyProviding advice and support on ethics related matters and be an internal point of control for ethicsShould you want to know more information, kindly reach out to Menina Campher (Mining Recruiter), Stefnie Bestbier, or Janoke Booysen (Mining Recruiter).Or send your CV to ****** and we will be in touch.
