Risk And Compliance Officer

We have a list of clients who are eagerly seeking a well-rounded and experiencedRisk and Compliance Officerto join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Duties and responsibilities include:
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
Monitor regulatory developments and update internal policies accordingly.
Train employees on compliance and risk management issues.
Investigate compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
Participate in audits and reviews to ensure adherence to standards and regulations.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Law, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as a Risk and Compliance Officer or similar role in the financial services or insurance industry
In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards relevant to the Corporate legislation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., RE5, CRMA, CIA ) advantageous
