In this pivotal role, you'll help shape and maintain the company's comprehensive risk management and compliance systems, ensuring they stay ahead in a fast-paced, regulated environment. If you have a strong background in risk management and legal compliance, and are ready to make an impact, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and refine the company's risk management systems, including credit, market, operational risk, and internal controls.Establish and enhance the legal compliance system, and manage the annual compliance risk plan.Implement and oversee annual work and internal control plans.Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and update risk control procedures as needed.Manage account rehabilitation, including collections and deal restructuring.Analyze risk data, propose mitigation strategies, and prepare reports.Review asset quality and regularly assess and report risk classifications.Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls.Provide compliance input for new products and processes.Handle legal and compliance cases, and manage intellectual property affairs.Oversee credit reviews, loan management, and document quality control.Foster a compliance culture within the company.RequirementsBCom (Accounting) or BCom Honours in Risk ManagementStrong knowledge of POPIA, FAIS, FICA, AML, and NCRRE1 certification1 to 2 years of relevant experienceDesired SkillsRE5RiskComplianceDesired Qualification LevelDegreeEmployer & Job BenefitsMedical AidProvident Fund
