Key Requirements:Managing the various rigging teams i.e., Scheduling installations, up-country trips.Liaising with project managers regarding installations Daily briefing of riggers regarding jobs.Communicating allowables to Riggers & sub-contractor riggers (PE, JHB & KZN). Acting as stand in Project manager to meet deadlines when PMs arent on site. Ensure photos of completed jobs and delivery notes are submitted by the riggers and saved on the server. Administration capturing documents on server, send all completed documents to PMs and notify them that the job is ready for invoicing. Invoice management - sign invoices off and project manager and send off for payment. Scheduling trips and ensuring trip sheets are completed. Detailed site surveys. Managing sub-contractor riggers - scheduling work for PE, JHB & KZN Liaising with dispatch - ensuring consignments have been sent off (Products are ready for installation). Managing installation schedules planning jobs, dates, and timeline when jobs need to be actioned.Health & SafetyPrinting/compiling of all H&S files for all regions and for all jobs. Have regular H&S meetings with Rigging teams to keep up the standards. Toolbox talks, equipment management (i.e., ensuring stock is always accounted for) H&S administration (IODs documentation; methods statement etc. Make sure all Rigging teams always have an up-to-date H&S file with them. Managing first aid on the property and ensuring the first aid kit is up to date. Ensure all riggers wear their PPE. Vehicles & ServicesEnsuring all vehicles are licensed. Ensuring all vehicles are serviced on time. Ensuring all trucks & vehicles are roadworthy. Ensuring the crane trucks are sent for servicing. Annual Crane load testing to be scheduled. Monitoring of all vehicles i.e. Tracking vehicles. Ensuring al fire extinguishers and equipment in the vehicles are serviced annually.Skills:Excellent delegation skills Excellent Decision Making Ability to work at heights. Flexibility to adapt to changes.Knowledge:Matric Certificate (Grade 12) Be in possession of a valid drivers license code 08 EB or code 10. Minimum of 5-to-7-year experience rigging in signage installations & managing teams. Good knowledge of various types of signs including vinyl, channel letters, electrical signs. Proficient Computer Literacy, high tech environment, especially Microsoft Office A sound understanding of the applicable installation methods, materials, and safety measures. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards. In-depth knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery.
