We are seeking a qualified and experienced Technical Service Manager to oversee the maintenance and technical operations of medical equipment and hospital systems. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day technical operations and maintenance of all hospital medical equipment, facilities, and associated systems. Lead a team of technicians, ensuring efficient maintenance, repair, and calibration of medical devices and hospital infrastructure. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and manufacturer guidelines for all medical equipment. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely repair and service of critical equipment. Oversee the installation, calibration, and validation of new equipment, ensuring it meets the hospitals operational needs. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff using complex medical technologies. Monitor the performance of hospital systems and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary. Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and asset management. Budget management for technical services, including cost control and reporting. Collaborate with other departments, such as clinical teams and hospital management, to ensure the smooth running of operations. Provide training and support to hospital staff on the safe use of medical equipment and systems. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field. At least 3 years of experience in a technical service or maintenance role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment. Proven leadership experience managing a team of technical professionals. Strong knowledge of medical equipment, hospital systems, and biomedical technology. In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, safety standards, and healthcare compliance (e.g., ISO, FDA, CE). Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with hospital staff, vendors, and stakeholders. Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using equipment management software and tools. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
