Our client is seeking a talented and motivated RF Electronic Engineer to join their Product Development team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing RF and electronic hardware solutions for advanced antenna systems. This position involves collaboration with various teams and extensive testing to ensure high-performance and reliable systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in RF design, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple engineering disciplines. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about developing innovative solutions in the RF and electronics space.
Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Embedded Software Engineers, RF Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Test Engineers, and Electronic Design Engineers, to develop and optimize RF and electronic hardware solutions. Design, simulate, and validate RF and electronic circuits and components, such as amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators, and matching networks, to meet performance specifications. Perform system-level analysis, including noise figure, linearity, and signal integrity, to ensure optimal system performance. Conduct testing and characterization of RF and electronic hardware prototypes using RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and oscilloscopes. Support the transfer of designs into production, ensuring manufacturability and reliability in collaboration with the production and manufacturing teams. Stay updated with advancements in RF and electronic design methodologies, industry trends, and technologies to enhance product design and development processes. Provide technical support to other teams, including customer support, to ensure successful product deployment and customer satisfaction. Key Skills: Proficiency in RF and digital electronic circuit design, simulation, and analysis using tools such as Altium or similar. Strong understanding of RF principles, including transmission line theory, impedance matching, and RF component characteristics. Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and oscilloscopes. Familiarity with PCB layout and design considerations for RF and high-speed digital circuits. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to RF systems and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex RF and electronic systems. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Self-motivated and proactive, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities. 3+ years of experience in RF and digital electronic circuit design. Experience with antenna design and characterization is beneficial. Familiarity with FPGA programming and digital signal processing (DSP) concepts is a plus. Proficiency in Altium, MS Office, and MATLAB. Fluency in English. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field. Professional certifications in RF or PCB design are advantageous.
