Our client in the telecommunication industry is looking for a Retentions and Collections Lead, this is a great opportunity to Build Your Dream Team Lead Retention and Collections and Drive Customer Success!"
This individual will be responsible for establishing and managing our newly formed retention and preservation department, developing and executing effective strategies to optimize customer retention and manage collections processes from start to finish.
Must have a strong background in retention and collections management.
It is a 12-month contract Suitable candidates should have short term or long-term experience Experience in Collections and retentions Experience in risk insurance would be preferableMatric qualification8 years of proven experience in a retention and collections environment, preferably within the financial services or insurance industryMinimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial roleOR Matric and Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Business Administration, Finance) 5 years of proven experience in a retention and collections environmentMinimum of 2 years in a leadership or managerial roleEstablish and lead the retention and preservation department within Life and Funeral OperationsDevelop departmental goals, strategies, and operational plans aligned with business objectivesDesign and implement effective collection strategies to improve retention ratesManage collections processes, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of outstanding balances Utilize customer data and analytics to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improving retentionDevelop and implement churn reduction strategies based on data-driven insights and industry best practicesCollaborate closely with other departments (such as Customer Service, Sales, Product and Finance) to align retention strategies with overall business goalsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for retention initiativesMonitor key retention metrics and performance indicators Continuously evaluate and improve retention and churn reduction strategiesStay abreast of industry trends and best practices in retention and collections management
