Only applications with the below experience and skills will be consideredPURPOSE OF THE POSITION:The main purpose of this position is to manage the relationship and interactions with allocated customers in a manner that promotes an excellent customer experience, including effective administration of the customer account contributing to customer retention and growth within this exciting, innovative organization. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Matric Grade 12Studying towards degree/diploma - Sales & Marketing advantageousMinimum 3 years experience in an account management position in a related industry (logistics) (Business to business)Intermediate MS SuiteValid drivers licence essential JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the relationship with allocated customers ensuring retention and growth.Promote excellent customer experiences through effective implementation of products/services, resolution of queries and continuous communicationEnsure regular customer face-to face visits and to adhere to monthly /quarterly customer visitation / contact plans ensuring that all allocated customers are visited / contacted within each quarter.Set up and attend meetings with customers, keep minutes of meetings and action outstanding matters.Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account matters.Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationshipsNegotiate contracts and close agreementsDevelop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executivesIdentify potential growth opportunities within allocated customers and grow revenue within base.Manage and upgrade contracts and ensure in placeTo ensure that customers are kept informed of all new services and/or changes to current servicesEnsure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.Prepare reports on account statusAssisting with challenging clients requests or issue escalation as needed.Ensure that all required services are being billed monthly, check customer invoices and statementsTo manage the Service Levels between the customer and the company. Depending on experience and qualifications. Tools of the trade and commission.
