Key Responsibilities: General Manager all GP StoresRequired to work between all storesRepairs and Maintenance of StoresInterviewing candidates for potential store employeesSigning of Contracts with new staff membersIssuing of WarningsResolving Issues with Managers and staffCommission CalculationsArranging for Suppliers to train staff on new or existing rangesImplementing new system to make things run more smoothlyBuilding up of a client database within the stores for back orders for stock still to arriveLiaising with Marketing department for the following:Attending of events to sell products and market the brandsCreate a schedule of events to be attended throughout the yearCoordinate marketing in store with online and social media marketingEnsure all staff know the company procedures and policiesCo-ordinating repairs of products for clothing, watches, sunglasses etc.Monitor all communications groups between staff and ensure all comply with the company policiesEnsuring all store managers report a monthly checklist for any issues in store that need to be fixed or replaced and ensure the list is attended to within the month or report to management if there is a delayEnsure all contractors used in store comply with the company's wishes and ensure they do what is requiredOversee all contractors billing and ensure everything paid for is done and working and contractors are held accountable for any issues on their workEnsure managers are made accountable for stock takes or cycle counts done in storeEnsure managers are made accountable for stock requisitions and IBT's sent and received from storesEnsure managers are made accountable for all items being priced accurately against the system within the stores and that they confirm pricing is loaded on the systemEnsure full accountability of stock takes or cycle counts of who is performing the counts of what sectionEnsure a monthly stock take is performed in all locationsEnsure that daily cycle counts are done on smaller sections each dayStock aging report needs to be sent out monthlyStock fulfillment reports need to be done monthly on categories or items that are going to be out of stockRandom spot checks in store to be done to audit actual counts performed on store weeklySet financial year budgets which are linked to budgets per store and per sales memberMonitor Sales Team's targets and help staff members to the best of your ability reach their targetsReport back any reason why sales team can't meet their targets to managementTraining of Staff in Products/Selling/ProcessesHandled or ensure all Customer Queries/Stock Requests/Complaints are handled in a timely mannerAuthorising of discounts in store when discounts other than the system discounts are usedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Pastel Evolution "must"Ability to work in a high-pressure environmentAbility to work retail hoursFluent in English and AfrikaansKnowledge and experience in sales of exclusive brandsPosted 2024-09-03
