Responsibilities :Maximize sales and control expensesStock control and stock take weeklyComplete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work resultsMaintain store staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating, and training employeesMaintain store staff results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job resultsPrepare annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyse variances; initiate corrective actionsIdentify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirementsEnsure availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts and maintaining inventoriesSecure merchandise by monitoring security systems and measuresProtect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environmentMaintain the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirementsSet up effective marketing displays for the sales floor and store windowsManage all controllable costs to keep operations profitableAnalyze sales figures and forecast future salesAnalyze and interpret trends to facilitate planningRespond to customer complaints and commentsMaintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitoring what local competitors are doingMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresAny other duties as and when may be required by SupervisorRequirements :5 Years sales experience (High end retailer / Visual merchandising experience)Completed MatricRetail ManagementStore sales systemUpselling, customer rapport, encouragement of teamUnderstand P&L, Finance, awareness of cutting costs and improving turnoverPricing relevant to the Store stock
