RETAIL STORE MANAGER / EAST LONDON – Our client in the packaging industry is looking to recruit a Store Manager.Min. Requirements:Minimum Grade 12/NQF 4, Retail tertiary qualification would be advantageousAt least two years proven experience in managing people, preferably in a retail and supply chain environmentStrong planning and organizing skillsCustomer Service orientated and how to deal with customersComputer literate – MS Windows and OfficeUNISOLV system experience would be an advantageousAny food packaging, baking and butchery ingredients experience would be advantageousValid driver's license and access to own transportExcellent communicator at all levelsAbility to work under pressure paying strict attention to detailGood standard of numeracy· Honest and required integrity to work with cash and stock.Responsibilities:Managing direct reports working in the retail shop.Organizing and control of staff for the following areas:Receiving – Ensure compliance to receiving standardsStock management and control – Ensure stock is managed in the store accurately at all timesStore Merchandising – Ensure all shelves are merchandised and stocked at all times according to retail standardsCash Control – Ensure cash and payments are balances on daily basis Stock is ordered timeously from all suppliersDriver sales and promotional activity to meet and exceed monthly targets Manage and create promotional activity programs for store Maintain shop and all equipmentManaging the store in terms of opening and closing times and staff reporting to the incumbentManage store as Profit Centre and ensure operation is profitableFacilitate accurate quarterly stock takesManage shop staff payroll queries and inputs (Leave/Timesheets etc.,)Salary: Market related (Based on experience)Undertaking: Crim check will be conducted on successful CandidateAPPLICATION PROCESS:
