AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Customer ExperienceBe professionalManage customer interactions, complaints and requestsOptimise selling space and drive replenishment to ensure stock availabilityConduct floor walks to ensure housekeeping disciplines are adhered toStore ProfitabilitySales - meet or exceed targetsGP - reduce wastage & improve stock accuracy within benchmarksNP - reduce controllable expenses in line with budgetsInterpret Income Statement information and formulate and implement action plansIdentify challenges, trends and opportunities to drive continuous improvementStore Disciplines & ProductivityEnsuring that monthly store audit benchmarks are achieved and improved uponRisk ManagementEffective stock control and stock managementEffective cash handling procedures and controlsLead, Develop and Retain Team MembersPerformance development culture and team effectivenessLeading, developing and coaching the teamBasic IRJOB SPECIFICATIONS: Grade 12Business/Admin qualification - a retail management diploma or degree would be advantageousMinimum 5 years retail experience - sales, merchandising and admin experience (including 2-3 years managerial experience)A genuine interest in health and wellness - brand ambassadorsFully computer literateStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility and willingness to work weekends and extended retail hoursProficiency in stock management, cost control and cost managementOwn transport essentialCompetency Assessment AchievedOFFER: Remuneration based on a 'cost to company' model and performance incentives.All permanent team members are required to join the company's provident fund and risk benefit.Medical aid options are available.Birthday leaveTeam member discounts on in-store and online purchasesOngoing learning and development through our in-house Wellness Training Academy and supplier training.Opportunities to be involved in CSI initiatives, events, and experiences (environmental and social)
