Job Description: Retail Sales Person/Financial Services
We're looking to hire an energetic candidate within our sales team with the intent of training and growing his/her prospects in this industry. The candidate will receive immense training on customer service, sales techniques and leadership and also how to properly accumulate the skills in order to be more effective in his or her work.
This role includes day to day interaction with customers on a face to face basis within a retail environment, attaining new business for the company and being active in the store while adding value to customers and staff alike. It also requires someone who sees opportunities from afar and is able to grab it with both hands. We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Retail Sales Financial Services person to join our team in Bellville, Cape town, South Africa.
Responsibilities:

Greeting customers and providing them with a positive and professional experience
Assessing customers' financial needs and providing advice on products and services
Opening and closing customer accounts
Processing transactions accurately and efficiently
Meeting sales targets and goals
Maintaining knowledge of current financial products and services
Participating in team meetings and training sessions
Providing feedback to management on customer needs and preferences

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Knowledge of financial products and services is a plus, but not required
Must be able to work in Bellville, Cape town, South Africa and remote working is not available.
