Retail Planner – Retail Industry

Overview Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Retail Planner to join their industry team in KwaZulu-Natal.
The Retail Planner will be responsible for developing merchandise financial plans and assortment plans that align with the company's overall business strategy and financial goals.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of retail mathematics and data analysis, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Responsibilities: Develop and implement merchandise financial plans that support the company's sales, margin, and inventory turnover goalsAnalyze historical sales data and market trends to forecast future sales and inventory needsCreate assortment plans that meet customer demand while maximizing profitabilityCollaborate with Merchandising, Inventory Management, and Marketing teams to ensure assortment plans are executed effectivelyMonitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement and drive business growthConduct regular business reviews and present findings to senior managementStay current on retail industry trends and best practices Requirements: Matric with a business-related tertiary qualification (BCom.
