Lead a retail team, driving sales, customer service, and store operations. Develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction, drive sales growth, and increase profitability.Key Responsibilities:Manage retail staff and cashiers.Meet financial goals by analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions, and formulating pricing policies.Maintain accurate pricing and work on store displays.Identify new services and products through trade shows.Recruit, coach, counsel, discipline, and train employees.Evaluate self-on-the-job performance and staff performance.Identify market trends that appeal to customers.Maintain inventory, ensure items are in stock, and approve contracts with store vendors.Ensure promotions are accurate and in line with company standards.Utilize computers to record sales figures, analyze data, and plan forward.Maintain health and safety measures and store cleanliness.Organize and distribute staff schedules, preside over staff meetings, and motivate retail sales staff to achieve sales targets.Handle customer complaints, issues, and questions.Key Skills and Competencies:Strong leadership and management style, with planning, leading, and controlling skills.Good financial acumen.Excellent organizational skills.Experience in arranging customer days.Knowledge and experience with in-store promotions.Ability to work on Saturdays and public holidays (if required).Requirements:Minimum 5 years of managing a retail store, with preference given to candidates with electrical knowledge and experience.Qualification in Business Administration, Retail Management, or similar will be advantageous.Experience in Accpac or similar computer packages will be advantageous.
