Retail Finance Analyst I

We are looking to recruit a Retail Finance Analyst I to work within the Retail Finance department. The role will be based at Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and will report to the Retail Finance Manager I.Job Purpose:To provide commercial finance support to the business in terms of financial planning and reporting, master data management and business acumen.Job Objectives:Insightful monthly reporting (including exception reporting) and commentaryMonthly journal preparation (including General Ledger account review)Monthly reconciliation analysis and reviewProfitability and other value add analysisDecision support (including report building)Weekly Scorecard reportingJSE Internal control testingMaster Data managementPurchase Order and Capex creation and managementFeasibility master data management and uploadsStakeholder management and engagementEducation and Experience:Bachelor of Commerce2 years' experience in a Commercial finance environmentRetail industry experience (Desirable)Advanced Excel skillsJob Related Knowledge:General accounting standards and principlesInvestment analysisCorporate business & transactional processJob Related Skills:Ability to persuade and influenceAnalytical & problem solving skillsAdvanced Excel skillsJob Related Competencies:Deciding and Initiating ActionPersuading and InfluencingPresenting and Communicating InformationLearning and ResearchingWorking with PeopleApplying Expertise and TechnologyAnalysingPlanning and OrganisingAnalysis and Interpretation of financial and non-financial data
