Reference: 9466 NB Consultant: NineBroodyrkJob Description:Operational ManagementOversee the day-to-day operations of the farm grocer, including inventory management, restocking, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold quality standards for all products.Develop and implement efficient operating procedures to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.Sales and MarketingDrive sales by actively engaging with customers, offering product recommendations, and promoting special offers or events.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for promoting farm grocer products through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and on-site signage.Monitor sales performance and analyse data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Customer ServiceProvide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.Foster positive relationships with customers and cultivate a welcoming and inviting atmosphere within the farm grocer.Vendor ManagementSource and procure locally sourced produce, artisanal goods, and other products to stock the farm grocer.Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors and suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and maintaining strong partnerships.Team LeadershipLead and motivate a team of farm grocer associates, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high levels of productivity and customer service.Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that values teamwork and encourages personal and professional growth.Qualifications:Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a farm grocer, specialty food market, or similar environment.Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue growth.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to engage with customers and build rapport.Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.Knowledge of locally sourced produce, artisanal products, and the agricultural industry is highly desirable.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.How to Apply:Email your comprehensive CV to ****** you are already registered, please forward your CV and the relevant reference number to the consultant with whom you are currently registered in order to avoid duplicity on our system.We reserve the right to only conduct interviews with candidates of choice.Applicants who have not received feedback within 30 days from the closing date must please accept their application as unsuccessful.
