Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe National WWII Museum is currently seeking an E-Commerce Manager.
Reporting to the Director of Retail Services, the E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the E-Commerce business, marketing and social media.
Requirements Develop and implement e-commerce strategies aligned with the company's goals to drive online sales, customer acquisition and retention.
Oversee the functionality, design, and user experience of the E-Commerce platform.
Analyze website metrics, user behavior, and implement strategies to improve conversion rates, reduce cart abandonment, and optimize the customer journey.
Manage the online product catalog, including product listings, descriptions, pricing and ensure all information is accurate and consistent.
Manage and/or oversee the @shopwwii Instagram and Facebook accounts.
Collaborate with the Marketing Department for retail and non-retail generated print and digital publications.
Suggest ways to improve overall sales and profits.
Collaborate with the Director of Retail Services to ensure proper inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes for online orders.
Monitor stock levels.
Assist in identifying and developing products that could have significant impact on ecommerce revenue.
Work with the Assistant Director of Museum Stores to ensure a seamless interaction between store and e-commerce operations.
Update items in Counterpoint, ensuring item descriptions, UPC and other data contributes to efficient ordering and selling of merchandise both online and onsite.
Make recommendations for min/max or pricing changes.
Maintain security on all aspects of the retail operations.
Recommend procedures for improving the security and efficiency of retail operations.
Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts as directed.
Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned by the AVP or Director of Retail Services.
QualificationsMust have retail management experience.
Minimum High School Diploma/GED or comparable work history.
Some college preferred.
Able to communicate clearly and pleasantly with customers, supervisors, and co-workers.
Must possess basic mathematical skills and abilities.
Must have knowledge of, or be able to learn, the Counterpoint and e-commerce hosting platform (Big Commerce) to ensure data and inventory integrity on all items is maintained.
Must be familiar with HTML, Photoshop, and have a basic knowledge and experience with Photography.
Must be able to complete tasks within a specified time-period.
Must be willing to learn and follow established policies and procedures.
Willingness to work overtime during special events or as needed.
