Role Purpose
The Retail Business Consultant crafts and sustains meaningful partnerships with IFAs to promote Momentum solutions, thereby assisting to grow the advisor's business and achieve the MDS sales target and grow the Momentum Footprint.
Requirements
Qualifications:
3-year tertiary qualification or willingness to study towards the degree.
Experience:
1 to 3 years relevant sales and communication experience.
Experience in Momentum products is an advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities
Drive continuous and consistent engagement with the IFA and the practice (Engage):
Understand the targeted IFA and ensure no barriers hinder a partnership.
Handle queries with excellence and provide feedback to IFAs.
Proactively support IFAs to move from non-active supporters to ambassadors.
Visit each IFA based on a defined plan and deliver a product-promoting message.
Engage every targeted Risk and Saving IFA in a structured, professional manner.
Develop IFA retention strategies focused on engagement.
Encourage connection to the brand and digital ways of working.
Mobilise support by being visibly excited about Momentum (Enthuse):
Show IFAs the best way to work with us and ensure they adopt digital methods.
Up the value and contribute insights (Educate):
Foster the perception that Momentum is a thought leader.
Deliver accountability, innovation, and influence in business dealings.
Continuously develop expertise in professional, industry, and legislation knowledge.
Ensure IFAs are informed and engaged through regular interactions.
Contribute and enable IFAs to increase production (Empower/Enable):
Understand the strengths and vulnerabilities of the IFA practice.
Achieve and/or exceed minimum input and productive targets.
Ensure production and business retention & growth of IFAs.
Factors to Consider:
Willing to work on a commission-based structure with high performance matching pay.
Willing to travel to the IFA (Car and driver's license) with flexibility to arrange your diary.
