We do this through our understanding of the retail insurance, savings, and investment markets in SA.Disclaimer: As an applicant, please verify the legitimacy of this job advert on our company career page.Role Purpose:The Retail Business Consultant crafts and sustains meaningful partnerships with IFAs to promote Momentum solutions, thereby assisting to grow the advisor's business and achieve the MDS sales target and grow the Momentum Footprint.Requirements:Qualifications:3-year tertiary qualification or willingness to study towards the degree.Experience:1 to 3 years relevant sales and communication experience.Experience in Momentum products is an advantage.Duties & Responsibilities:Drive continuous and consistent engagement with the IFA and the practice (Engage):Understand the targeted IFA we are focusing on, ensuring no barriers hinder a partnership.Develop visibility to create a deep understanding of support and establish the basis for relationships.Proactively support IFAs to move from non-active to active supporters.Visit each IFA and IFA office based on a defined plan and deliver a product promoting message.Engage every targeted Risk and Saving IFA in a structured, professional manner.Develop IFA retention strategies that encourage IFAs to keep their books with us.Encourage connection to the brand and digital way of work.Mobilise support by being visibly excited about Momentum (Enthuse):Show IFAs the best way to work with us and ensure they adopt the Digital way of work.Up the value and contribute insights, new critical knowledge, and understanding delivered to IFAs (Educate):Foster the perception among IFAs that Momentum is a thought leader.Deliver accountability, innovation, excellence, and influence in business dealings.Continuously develop own expertise in terms of professional, industry, and legislation knowledge.Ensure IFAs are consistently informed and engaged through coaching and regular interactions.Contribute and enable IFAs to increase their own production (Empower/Enable):Have a good understanding of the strengths, vulnerabilities, risks, and opportunities of the IFA practice.Achieve and/or exceed the minimum input targets.Ensure production/business retention & growth of IFAs' business.Factors To Consider:Willing to work on a commission-based structure with high performance matching pay.Willing to travel to the IFA (Car and driver's license) with flexibility to arrange your diary.Competencies:Working with people: Shows respect for the views and contributions of others.Relating and Networking: Establishes good relationships with customers and staff.Persuading and Influencing: Gains agreement and commitment from others.Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations: Focuses on customer needs and satisfaction.Adapting and Responding to Change: Adapts to changing circumstances.Coping with Pressures and Setbacks: Maintains a positive outlook at work.Achieving Personal Work Goals and Objectives: Accepts and tackles demanding goals with enthusiasm.
