Well established national retailer are looking for an experienced applicant to join their dynamic team.The Admin Controller (2IC) serves as the second-in-command in the administration department, supporting the CAO in managing daily operations, overseeing administrative functions, and ensuring efficient office management.
This role requires strong leadership skills, organizational capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:Operational Support:Assist the CAO in strategic planning and implementation of administrative policies.Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.Team Leadership:Supervise and mentor administrative staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.Foster a positive work environment and promote professional development.Financial Management:Assist in budget preparation and monitoring of departmental expenses.Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and expense reports.Communication:Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.Prepare and present reports on departmental performance to the CAO.Process Improvement:Identify areas for improvement within administrative processes and recommend solutions.Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Compliance and Governance:Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in an administrative role, with supervisory experience preferred.Strong knowledge of office management procedures and best practices.Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Personal Attributes:Detail-oriented and results-driven.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Adaptable and able to manage change effectively.High level of integrity and professionalism.Should you wish to apply please email your CV through to Erin Bentz at ****** shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
