Full job descriptionKey Performance Areas: Set-up and host create meeting with entertainment department Staff weeklySet-up and host weekly meetings with department connecting service providersControl Entertainment budget with group Customer Experience Manager and Resort ManagerPlace orders on equipmentMonitor quality control of departments facilities, equipment and Staff performancesPresent daily tasks and operational feedback in Resort meetingsAssist with innovative concepts and trends at ResortEnsure Resort vibe and Staff presence is at highest quality and visibility consistentlyCreate weekly leisure programs and ensure information is shared with Head Office timeouslyHandle all Guest related queries including information on promotions, functions, events, and general questions about the Resort.Assist with promotions, functions, and events.Communicate all necessary and correct information in a professional manner.Act within procedural parameters.Issue, receive, and maintain all 2-way radios and other communication systems.Take weekly stock takes and keep stock up to date, report timeously purchases that are required so that activities are always available as per advertising activity list.Write and communicate all complaintsTo be pro-active and use initiative with customer service and complaints.Ensure prescribed standards are maintained in terms of maintenance, security, marketing, public relations, operations and hygiene within the prescribed working area.Responsible for and ensure a high level of personal service & be highly visible to guests & staff alike.Responsible for and ensure that pleasant, friendly and helpful behavior is maintained at all times.Have a thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the Resort.To provide courteous and efficient service to all Guests.To maintain, at all times the highest standard of appearance and skills, according to Company Policy.To ensure a professional image at all times.To attend and be attentive to training as and when required.To be familiar with staff and Company rules and policies, as well as the Fire, Health and Safety and Security procedures.Up sell all Resort facilities.Collect Surveys from Guests regularly.Promote brand to business, events, communities, schools, charity and other.Implement and facilitate guided hikes.Operate and run all adventure sports activities like rope climbing rocks, gorge swing and other similar activities.Set-up and lead entertainment events.M.C events.Child mind kids - Love for Children.Facilitate and arrange kids and family entertainment games and activities.Position Requirements: Experience in Theme Park, Cruise Liner, Children's camps, Hotels and Resorts entertainmentLeading kids and family games and activitiesPublic speakingComputer literacy and Audio-visual expertiseCrisis managementSafety and security act (O.H.S.A)First AidValid Driver's LicencePerson Requirements: High energy levelsA passion for working with the public & particularly childrenPrepared to work outside of normal office hoursWork on public holidays and weekendsWork during high season periodsWork within a multi-cultural environmentWork with multi gendersFlexibilityQualifications: Matric or Grade 12 (Compulsory)Child minding (Advantage)Valid Driver's LicenceOnly short-listed candidates will be contacted.
