All training for this position is conducted in-house, and no previous experience is required.ResponsibilitiesConduct construction site evaluations for energy assessment and quality of constructionMaintain a positive working relationship with clientsComplete all site evaluation documentation in electronic systems and onsite energy code compliance formsCommunicate construction quality issues and energy code requirements to client onsite personnelCommunicate timely and professionally with immediate supervisor and clients to support efficient operationsStrong problem-solving skills providing solutions to improve the quality of each newly constructed house according to energy code requirementsOpen to learning new skills in the energy efficiency and construction industryRequirementsNo previous experience needed; however, knowledge of general construction is a plusMust be able to work outdoors in all types of weatherStrong attention to detailMust be able to walk up and down inclines and on uneven land/groundMust have dependable transportationHardworking, and one with a 'teachable' personaPositive team playerMust be able to travel and work at remote sitesPhysical RequirementsWhile each task on site can be learned quickly, the job is rigorous with equipment setup but when mastered, does not take long to perform each individual inspection.
