Responsibilities:- Project Management- Contract Administration- Monitoring and reporting on the programme and financial expenditure.- Implement quality monitoring plans and monitor quality control plans- Site audits, inspections, quality control testing, approval and rejection of work- Measurements of the works, payment certificates and cash flow forecasts- Chair meetings with Contractors, Employers and Engineers including administration and minutes.- Issuing of site instructions, variation orders, drawings, etc. as per duties assigned by Engineer.- Compile reports and as-built data in accordance with the Employer's standard requirements.- Reliable, efficient, detail orientated and resourceful.- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of programmes (MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Projects, as a minimum)- Basic CAD skills will be an advantage.- Strong communication and people relation skills.- Astute learner and work well in a team environment.- Suitable candidate must have a valid drivers license and own vehicle and must be willing to travel.Qualifications and Experience:- BSc /B Eng /BTech in Civil Engineering- A minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in construction monitoring and site supervision of work with a civil, structural and electrical interface (residential and industrial developments).- The candidate must be registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Technologist- Proficient in managing construction contract using various general conditions of contract such as the SAICE General Conditions of Contract, JBCC, FIDIC, NEC3- Good knowledge and experience in the SANS(SABS)1200 and COLTO Standard Specifications- Good knowledge and experience with the Construction Regulations 2014Requirements:- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of programmes (MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Projects, as a minimum)- Basic CAD skills will be an advantage.
