Resident Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to oversee the prestigious Msikaba River Bridge project in the Eastern Cape. Ideal Candidate: BSc Engineering or B. Engineering degree. Registered Professional Engineer with ECSA or equivalent international registration. Minimum of 15 years relevant experience. Proven expertise in contractual management, including claim evaluation. Strong understanding of modern project management techniques. About the Role: Act as the primary contractual representative on-site. Manage contractual relationships with the Engineer, designers, and contractor. Implement and monitor the firms Quality Management System with a focus on contractual compliance. Oversee project program and budget from a contractual standpoint. Conduct claim evaluations, prepare variation orders, and manage site operations. Ensure compliance with targeted enterprise and labour utilization.
