& Qualifications)Our client, established Tour Operation based in Cape Town, is looking for an experienced Reservations/Operations Consultant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills, with strong problem-solving abilities.
The role requires multi-tasking and the capacity to meet deadlines.
Candidates must be able to work in the office during standard office hours and have flexibility in day shifts.
Own reliable transport is required, and candidates must reside in Cape Town.Criteria:Reservations and Operations experience in the Tourism Industry (minimum 3 years)In-depth knowledge of Cape Town hotels and tours on offerProficient in MS Office; training will be provided on the in-house booking systemOwn reliable transport; must be a Cape Town residentKey Performance Indicators (KPIs):Work closely with Tour Guides and Tour Operators to build on existing relationshipsManage emails, WhatsApp messages, bookings from operators, data capturing, and text communication in an organized and efficient mannerAnswer telephone and WhatsApp inquiries, representing the company in a professional and competent mannerThoroughly brief Tour Guides regarding expense sheets, pax lists, and itinerariesHandle cash responsibly and manage cash-ups for Tour GuidesGenerate expense sheets, pax lists, and itineraries for GuidesBook Guides, extra vehicles, and trailers; allocate vehicles and guides on the scheduleProduce accurate quotations, invoices, and vouchersBook Cape Town restaurants and attractionsCheck welcome packs and hand them over to the GuidesBook accommodation when needed; check flight arrival and departure informationPrepare water and picnic baskets as needed for tours and transfers
