Job Overview: As a Group Reservations Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for guests looking to book their stay at our 5* hotel. Your primary responsibility will be to assist guests with reservation inquiries, provide information about room availability, and ensure a seamless booking process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service across multiple properties.Key Responsibilities:Reservation Management:Handle inbound calls and emails from potential guests seeking room reservations.Provide accurate information about room types, rates, and hotel amenities.Assist guests in making, modifying, or canceling reservations.Customer Service:Offer personalized assistance to guests, addressing their specific needs and preferences.Handle guest inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.Upselling:Promote special packages, upgrades, and additional services to enhance the guest experience.Maximize revenue by upselling or cross-selling whenever possible.System Maintenance:Update reservation system with accurate guest information and special requests.Ensure all reservation records are complete and up-to-date.Qualifications:Previous experience in 5* hotel reservations and customer service.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and procedures.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.Interviews will be held in person in Cape Town.
