Job title : Research Technologist: Research Assistant (R796B) Job Location : KwaZulu-Natal, Durban Deadline : January 17, 2025 Quick Recommended Links Jobs by Location Job by industries Responsibilities: Management of the research site at Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital (PMMH) which will include: Regular liaison with staff at the drug-resistant TB clinic at PMMH Recruitment and enrolment of study participants Extraction of data from clinical notes and capturing it into RedCap, ensuring data is collected, cleaned, organized and stored according to SAMRC ethical principles Administration of depression screening tools Management of electronic data collection tools and processes.
Submission of weekly reports to study team Core Requirements: Matric with1-2 Years accredited course/ certification 5 years experience of working in TB/HIV studies 2 – 3 years experience in research/project management Experience with conducting screening, obtaining consent/assent and quantitative data collection.
Experience in liaising with health care workers from Department of Health.
Experience in data capturing Fluent in isiZulu and English Drivers license and willing to drive to Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital Advantageous: Effective organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team Ability to multitask and work under pressure Research / Data Analysis  jobs
