Participate in the design, administration, and monitoring of clinical trials. Be responsible for the efficient collection of accurate, complete, and ethical data from study volunteers, adhering to protocol and overall clinical objectives.Your primary role will include:Participant recruitment and enrolment: Recruit potential participants for the study, ensure they are provided with all study details as described in the Participant Information Sheet, administer written informed consent, and schedule appointments.Research related activities: Proper documentation of all study activities, administer data collection instruments, collect adherence data, perform quality checks, observe clinic-based staff, and complete any other activities required by the protocol.Participant retention: Retain participants by obtaining, verifying, and updating detailed locator data, reminding participants about appointments, following up to ensure study completion, and recommending retention strategies.General administration: Prepare participant files and documents, ensure safe storage and transportation of study documents, and attend study meetings to report on progress.RequirementsKnowledge of: Microsoft Office, research methods, and GCP.Work Experience: At least 3 years in research, experience in collecting qualitative and quantitative data, data entry, and experience working with staff in public healthcare facilities is advantageous.Minimum Requirements: Grade 12, GCP trained, and a post-matric qualification.Other Requirements: Willingness to travel, a driver's license, and driving experience.Skills Required: Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, management and interpersonal skills, proficiency in written and spoken English and local languages, ability to work independently and in a team, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
