Finance Reporting ControllerRPO Recruitment's client, an urban property development company, is currently seeking a finance reporting controller to join their team of professionals in Cape Town.Responsibilities:FINANCIAL FEASIBILITIES and ANALYSIS:Analysing Project financial feasibilities and profit returnsCalculating Project interest rollsMapping out Project funding split, raise targets and pre-sale targetsAnalysing Project IRR's and Net profit returnsAnalysing Project costing efficienciesOPERATIONAL:Cash Flow Management (Daily updates, Budget vs Actual tracking, driving key cash flow items)Cash Flow forecasting for Projects and GroupProject Bank draw recons and submissionsVAT facility recons and VAT submissions reviewsRevenue forecasting and trackingOverhead budgeting and trackingTax related matters when applicableNew entity set-up - from a SARS, Accounting package and CIPC perspectiveLegal agreement implementation and reviewSECRETARIAL:Booking shareholder meetingsCompiling meeting agenda's and minutesACCOUNTING:Audit oversight and managementOverseeing complete and accurate trial balancesAccounting system changes and improvement implementationFocusing on efficienciesDeveloping and implementing smart and live reportingReconciling Sales system and Accounting systemReconciling 3rd party platform reports and providing sales splitsReview of payrollPosting sales, interest and transfer journalsREPORTING and PACK CREATION:Leadership reportingManagement ReportingShareholders ReportingProject ReportingBank funding pack creationProject reconciliations between departmental reportsViability updatesOTHER:Providing support where applicable to the Finance Director and Financial ManagerGeneral ad hoc duties as the company sees fitRequirements:3-5 years' experience in a similar roleDegree in Finance or Accounting non-negotiableXero and Syft accounting software experience preferableCA (SA) or CIMA qualification preferredConstruction related experience non-negotiableMust love a fast-paced, dynamic environmentA highly-organised individual who is responsible to manage tasks on their ownHard-worker, efficient, deadline focused, high attention to detail and strong ability to self-review workIncredibly neat and have extensive experience with reporting pack compilationsMust be good with people and work well in a teamProficient in Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, Office)Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, complex if formulas)Benefits:RPO is a Specialist Recruitment Agency that provides candidates and clients with unique recruitment solutions tailored to their needs.
