Rentals Account Manager

A well-established, market leader in the mining and construction industry requires an Account Manager to service Gauteng as well as Free State and Lesotho region. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for growth in a company that invests in their employees.  Over and above the salary is company vehicle and petrol card, cell phone and data, commission and incentives.ResponsibilitiesAchieve agreed sales targets within the assigned market segmentActively look for new customers and opportunitiesEstablish, develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customersExpedites and follows up on the resolution of customer problems and complaintsResearches and keeps abreast of market conditions in the assigned sectorDevelop weekly call planner and schedule appointmentsComplete and submit weekly reports (call, market & competitor)Provide after sales service to all clientsEnsure timeously completion of enquiries, quotes and tendersResponsible for general sales administrationPrepare sales aids and materials (brochure, presentations, etc.)Ensure sales processes are ISO compliantRequirementsGrade 12 or equivalentQualification in sales and/or marketing advantageousRelated sales experience in the mining or construction sectorKnowledge of ISO, tender processing, working knowledge of businessAbility to read and draw design layouts on Turbo-Cad an advantageMust be able and willing to travel Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
