6-month Maternity Cover To qualify for this role you must have: Matric Degree/Nationa Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain 3-years related experience within the vehicle logistics space Understanding of the Vehicle Supply Chain environment Be immediately available Vehicle Fitments, Carrier Delivery Supply Chain and Rental fleet controlling experience Duties and Key Responsibilities: Monitor truck turnaround time daily & Present results to all stakeholders Conduct Time studies & route cause analysis and countermeasures against failures Submit work instruction orders to NSA appointed dealers & issue orders to NSAs appointed carriers (road freight and/or sea freight) for the delivery of the vehicles Responsible for tracking all vehicle orders placed by government agencies, rental companies and/or NSA on the systems or as may be advised by NSA from time to time Ensure timeous delivery of the vehicles to the rental companies and/or Dealers by NSAs appointed carrier Track all fitments on a daily basis to ensure the delivery lead time is met & follow up on PODs for both Government and Rental orders Issue a stock requisition to NSAs Parts and Accessories department for all ex-vendor fitments to be done by the ex-vendor suppliers and following up to ensure timeous delivery & fitment in line with lead time period Responsible for arranging the movement of all vehicles to the fitment area or ex-vendor supplier who will be doing the fitment Monitor ex-vendor supplier stock on a continuous basis to ensure there is sufficient stock to complete orders; and Forecasting expected volumes must be communicated to ex-vendor suppliers based on correspondence with NSAs Sales department Issue rental vehicle reports to NSAs Sales department, Sales Operations and Support (SOS) and any other departments as may be advised by NSA from time to time twice a week, which reports will set out the status of each vehicle attached to a specific order Issue SAPS report on a weekly basis to Sales, SOS and Managemen Month end sales support
