Remote Internal Sales – Australian based Company

Our client is a leading supplier of high-quality industrial products and wire ropes to businesses across Australia. They are expanding their team and are in search of a dynamic and motivated individual for a remote internal sales role.

Role Overview
The Remote Internal Salesperson will manage phone-based customer inquiries, handle sales, and prospect for new business opportunities. This role requires a proactive individual with experience in selling industrial and building products who can effectively communicate with our Australian customer base from a home office in South Africa.

Primary Objective
Your primary objective is to drive profit for the company by executing the company's sales systems via telephone, converting enquiries into sales. This role demands effective phone sales skills, self-management, and ensuring customer needs and expectations are met or exceeded.

Requirements:
Proven experience in sales within the industrial or building products sector.
Excellent phone and communication skills.
Ability to work independently from a home office.
Proficiency with ERP systems and Google Workspace.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
In-depth product knowledge of stocked items.
Strong phone-based sales and communication skills.
Proficiency in basic computer operations and sales software.
Ability to negotiate and build rapport with customers.
Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
Resilience and professionalism in a high-energy environment.
Attention to detail and ability to exercise judgment.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and respond to phone inquiries from industrial clients across Australia.
Conduct outbound sales calls and prospects for new business opportunities.
Provide expert advice and support to customers using your product knowledge.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in our ERP system.

Working hours will be according to Australia's working hours
