Registered Ophthalmology Nurses required in Worcester, United Kingdom.Are you a skilled Overseas Registered Nurse ready to embark on an extraordinary journey? Sanctuary International, a highly respected recruitment agency, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses with experience in Ophthalmology to join the dynamic healthcare landscape in Worcester, UK.Position: Ophthalmic Nurse/ODP (Theatres & Outpatients)Salary: £36,000 starting, rising to £37,500 after 12 months of service.Role summary:Ophthalmic Nurses/ODPs play an important role in the efficient and safe running of our services, supporting both theatres & outpatients across a range of clinics including general, pre- and post-operative assessment.Comprehensive Package:Flight: £800 (initial payment upfront, reclaimable through salary in installments).Airport Transfer: £100.00Welcome Package: £60 (includes groceries, bedding, a kettle, prepaid travel card, and a pay-as-you-go SIM card).Subsidized Accommodation: Deposit: £600 & 2 months' Rent: £1,200NMC OSCE (first attempt): £794NMC Computer Based Test: £83OSCE Training and Accommodation: £2,099Clinical Duties and Responsibilities:Up-to-date proficient Scrub skills for high-volume cataract surgery.Assembling, checking, preparing, and coordinating the use of surgical equipment for Ophthalmology procedures.Ability to set up for vitrectomy surgery.Full understanding of Phaco Machines/Instrumentation and set up.Full knowledge of the eye and understanding of Biometry/Lens bank/Implants.Ability to support the surgeon in anticipating any potential problems in theatre.Working as part of a theatre team.Accurately recording patient history relevant to the clinic.Performing a comprehensive range of diagnostic procedures and clinical assessments for diagnosis and treatment.Advising patients on appropriate care for their eye conditions.Requirements:Degree or Equivalent in Nursing.Prior experience in a healthcare setting.IELTS or OET: Proof of language proficiency if applicable.Theatre training/substantive experience required.3 years or more hospital eye service experience expected.Biometry/Corneal Topography/OCT/FFA/IOP knowledge.Intermediate Life Support training.Contact:This Nursing job is advertised by Paul Hayward; if you are interested in this position, please click above to apply now.
