Diploma in production, Chem Eng or equivalent
Two years working experience in a production environment
Two years experience in leading and managing in a unionised environment
Good understanding of the general operation of emergency response equipment
Good organisation and planning skills
Working knowledge of the SAP system
Computer literate with MS Word, Excel and Power Point
Activités
Productivity / Delivery
To ensure the safe, efficient, continuous operation of the lube & grease plant, and to effectively manage all the activities of the production plant according to the product requirements
Effectively optimizing the use of production resources
Manage and administration of production documents in terms of Safety, health and Environment
Preparation and distribution of required production reports
Responsible for the implementation of Waste Management Systems
Finance
To manage and control overtime
To control manufacturing variances within the acceptable limits
Inventory Management
To ensure stock losses/gains are kept within acceptable tolerances
HSEQ
To ensure all staff are in compliance with all HSEQ policies and procedures
Maintain good housekeeping and the safety of the plant
Knowledge of ISO 50001, IATF 16949, One Maestro and ISO 9001
Conduct safety and poster talks
People Management
To set objectives and do staff appraisals/reviews
Identify staff training needs and request in-house and external training
Ensuring execution of routine Plant Safety Inspection
Training of operators on Work instructions, tasks and procedures
