Job Summary We are seeking a Reliability Engineer to join the East West Pipelines Department (EWPD). The EWPD is responsible for transferring hydrocarbons through its pipeline network, which includes Pumping Stations with pumps driven by Gas Generator turbines, in addition to Booster Gas Compression Stations with compressors driven by Gas Generator turbines. Your primary role is to ensure the reliability of our network system and conduct reliability analysis and studies.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct engineering studies to identify reliability programs, tasks, initiatives, and studies applicable to the facility. Monitor reliability performance using reliability Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify lower-level KPIs relevant to facility processes. Provide recommendations to bridge identified gaps from KPIs and other assessments, and offer technical support for implementation. Calculate Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) for all equipment and research failure data to improve equipment reliability. Predict equipment failures using MTBF, vibration trend analysis, and Oil Condition Monitoring data, and introduce new technology as needed. Review Engineering Request/Design packages for machinery modifications or upgrades. Collaborate with Maintenance Foreman, Area Maintenance Engineer, and OME team to assess equipment failure risks using Risk Analysis programs or Enterprise Asset Performance Management. Evaluate reliability and innovation ideas related to machinery equipment. Requirements: Willingness to relocate to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized program, with preference for an advanced degree in Reliability Engineering. Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in Reliability Engineering, with at least four years specializing in Rotating Equipment or Valve Specialty.
