Release Specialist Pretoria

Control Management and release management policy creation, maintenance and adoption.Chairs and compiles Change Advisory Board meeting agenda and minutes – including identifying and highlighting risks addressed.Engages IT and stakeholders for necessary arrangements for system downtime.Checks validity of information before tabling at the CAB for approval.Conducts training, annual reviews of change control policies, and audit support.Provides monthly reports on changes, high impact or emergency changes, and trend analysis reports.Ensures update of configuration items before closing off changes.Facilitates the release schedules and availability for post-implementation testing.Documents post-release information and visibility on successful and failed changes.Provides support to ITSM, incident and problem management, and ITAM teams.Education/Experience: ITIL Foundation.Advantageous certificates: ITIL Asset Management, Release Control and Validation V3, Service Transitioning V3, V4 Create, Deliver and Support, V4 Drive Stakeholder Value.Kepner Tregoe problem solving.Change Control and Release Management experience.
