Job Purpose
To acquire and deliver banking solutions to the high value client segment (i.e. SBS; Professional/ Financially affluent); by providing great client experiences and understanding client business and household banking needs.
Job Responsibilities

Acquire and deliver banking solutions to high value clients by providing excellent client experiences.
Improve client service through delivering relevant products and services according to client needs.
Maintain and build a portfolio of high value, complex clients.
Unearth client sales/solution opportunities and execute on these opportunities.
Conduct thorough needs analysis across all client spheres of financial influence.
Respond within agreed timelines to tasks and responsibilities.
Build and maintain effective professional relationships with high value clients.
Deliver banking solutions that meet client needs.
Understand clients' business, personal, and household needs.
Build sound and sustainable client relationships and instill trust among clients.
Proactively engage clients in a manner relevant to their specific circumstances.
Collaborate with specialists in client engagements to cross-sell and create value-based solutions.
Ensure work is completed to agreed principles, processes, and procedures.
Comply with risk standards, policies, and procedures through training and development.
Facilitate clients' compliance correctness in line with Nedbank internal and regulatory standards.
Identify and resolve work-related obstacles and problems.
Contribute to the improvement of policies, procedures, standards, and processes.
Understand the bank's risk and credit policy and manage client expectations accordingly.
Obtain buy-in for developing new and/or enhanced processes.
Comply with internal standard procedures to facilitate client requirements.
Support the achievement of the business strategy, objectives, and values.
Identify training courses and career progression for self through feedback from management.
Ensure all personal development plan activities are completed within the specified timeframe.
Share knowledge and industry trends with team and stakeholders.
Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals.
Participate in corporate responsibility initiatives for the achievement of business strategy.
Seek opportunities to improve business processes and systems.

Minimum Experience Level

4-5 years' relationship management experience in the financial sector.
2 years' relationship banker experience.
2-3 years' experience in business acquisition essential.
Experience in sales and deal origination related to a corporate client portfolio within a banking/financial services environment is advantageous.

Requirements

NQF Level 5 or higher in a financial or business-related field essential.
Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
Post-graduate degree in financial/business management is an advantage.
Valid driver's license and own reliable transport is essential.
