Primary Purpose To generate revenue for Bidvest by sourcing new clients and proactively managing the account to maximize profitability. To grow and retain a portfolio of high-value banking relationships by performing proactive value-adding partnerships, providing banking solutions and services to maintain and grow the existing customer base.

Minimum Requirements Qualifications MatricNQF5 - National DiplomaFinance/Certificate in BankingFAIS RE5 Completed within allocated timelines as prescribed by FSCARecognized as per FSCA Relevant Financial qualification Experience 2 years of previous Business Banking and Relationship Management Sales experience, with exposure to financial services Competencies Knowledge Sound understanding of business banking salesCustomer relationship managementGood knowledge of sales and service principles Technical Negotiating skillsPresentation skillsGood communication skillsNetworking abilityAbility to sell Personal Own vehicle and valid driver's licenseBusiness acumenAttention to detailTime management (planning skills)TeamworkSelf-motivatedResilient Duties and Responsibilities Sales Proactively cold call and find new clients for Bidvest to meet the monthly revenue target.Educate and promote Bidvest's full product offering to clients to maximize the revenue that can be generated.Manage profit margins by providing clients with comparative information on rates and obtaining the best rates for specific banking products.Track, control, and influence sales activities to increase sales efficiencies of the team.Actively grow the client base by agreed target of new acquisitions a month to achieve the sales target. Portfolio Management Monitor, track, and report on sales activity periodically to ensure action is taken to meet sales targets.Identify opportunities for cross-selling and referrals to other product lines through developing a good understanding of client needs.Identify new revenue opportunities and gather customer feedback on products. Risk Management Comply with governance regarding legislative and audit requirements.Understand clients' risk profiles and balance for individual clients by optimizing product mix. Client Service Anticipate and interpret clients' business requirements to encourage them to bank with Bidvest and sell the right product to the right client.Provide timely solutions to clients by researching their business in relation to the current economic climate and educating them about Bidvest's products.Deliver excellent service that results in client referrals and new business.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high service levels and quality to retain clients and foster long-term relationships.Engage in continuous face-to-face and telephonic interaction with clients to proactively address their needs.Assist clients in maximizing benefits from products by offering the right product at the right time.Manage the review process of clients' facilities, submitting and motivating business cases for approval to credit and legal departments.Train and assist clients on necessary systems/processes to interact with the bank efficiently.Maintain awareness of market and economic conditions to provide relevant advice to clients.Onboard clients by following compliance, credit application, and obtaining necessary facilities with relevant internal departments. Admin Support Provide relevant reports to track progress.Review client files to ensure updated information.Update and manage all client interactions on the CRM system. Process Management Build successful relationships with legal, credit, internal bankers, back office, and treasury to meet clients' needs.Work with legal and credit to ensure all necessary documents are in place and delivered to clients.Assist with SARB applications.Follow up with all parties to ensure queries are resolved. Training Manage personal development to increase competencies.Complete all required product training for cross-selling opportunities.Complete mandatory training, including Anti-Money Laundering.Stay informed about FICA, PoPI compliance, and legislation.Meet training deadlines as outlined in the PDP.Keep abreast of compliance (FICA) requirements.Understand banking products and channels.Ensure FAIS compliance.Understand the sales cycle.
