Primary Purpose
To generate revenue for Bidvest by sourcing new clients and proactively managing the account to maximize profitability. To grow and retain a portfolio of high-value banking relationships by performing proactive value-adding partnership, by providing banking solutions and services to maintain and grow the existing customer base. To develop and maintain a portfolio of important revenue-generating client relationships within the defined affluent market segment.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
MatricNQF5 - National Diploma – Finance/Certificate in BankingFAIS RE5 Completed within allocated timelines as prescribed by FSCARecognized as per FSCA Relevant Financial qualification
Experience
2 years of previous Business Banking and Relationship Management Sales experience, with exposure to financial services

Duties and Responsibilities
FINANCE
Sales
Proactively cold call and find new clients for Bidvest to meet the monthly revenue targetEducate and promote Bidvest's full product offering to clients to maximize the revenue that can be generatedManage the profit margins by providing clients with comparative information on rates and obtaining the best rates for specific banking productsTrack, control, and influence sales activities to increase sales efficiencies of the teamActively grow the client base by agreed target of new acquisitions a month to achieve the sales target
Portfolio Management
Monitor, track, and report on sales activity periodically to ensure action is taken to meet sales targetsIdentify opportunities for cross-selling and referrals to other product lines through understanding client needsIdentify new revenue opportunities and gather customer feedback on products
Risk Management
Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirementsUnderstand clients' risk profile and balance for individual clients by optimizing product mix
CLIENT CENTRICITY
Client Service
Anticipate and interpret clients' business requirements to encourage them to bank with BidvestProvide relevant, timely solutions to clients through research on their business and educating them on Bidvest's productsDeliver excellent service that results in client referrals and new businessAct as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high service levels and qualityEngage in continuous face-to-face and telephonic interaction with clients to proactively address their needsAssist clients in maximizing benefits from products by offering the right product at the right timeProactively manage the review process of clients' facilities to achieve timely renewalsTrain and assist clients on necessary systems/processes for efficient dealings with the BankMaintain awareness of market conditions to provide relevant advice to clientsOn-board new clients following compliance and credit application processes
Admin Support
Provide relevant reports to track progressReview client files to ensure information is updatedUpdate and manage all client interaction on the CRM system
INTERNAL PROCESSES
Process Management
Build successful relationships with legal, credit, internal bankers, back office, and treasury to meet clients' needsWork with legal and credit to ensure all necessary documents are in place and delivered to clientsAssist with SARB applicationsFollow up with all parties to ensure queries are resolved
Training
Manage own development to increase competenciesComplete all required product training for cross-selling opportunitiesComplete all mandatory training, including Anti-Money LaunderingStay updated on FICA, PoPI compliance, and legislationMeet training deadlines as outlined in PDPKeep abreast of compliance (FICA) requirementsUnderstand banking products and channelsEnsure FAIS complianceUnderstand the sales cycle
