Job DescriptionResponsible for management of their function, devising, implementing, and providing input into the customer relationship management strategy.
Client Relationship Manager ResponsibilitiesStrategically and operationally manage and grow a portfolio of high revenue generating clients.Provide and manage quality client services and advisory services to Philanthropy clients and support business development to achieve overarching business strategy through market positioning, research, engagement with potential clients, and delivery of social investment solutions to clients, in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.Serve as the primary interface between FNB Philanthropy and its clients under administration.Lead client meetings including preparing Board or Committee agendas, meeting packs, and managing follow-up communications.Ensure resolutions of the Board or Committee are implemented timeously.Provide overall leadership and general supervision for the daily operations of Foundations under your portfolio.Coordinate client educational events relating to giving strategies and philanthropy value proposition.Maintain a high professional profile in the field of philanthropy by participating in events, seminars, and conferences in the local community and in the national nonprofit/philanthropic sector.Provide guidance and support regarding compliance to applicable regulatory, risk management and compliance best practices and requirements.Identify and resolve challenges impacting the delivery of client strategies.Evaluate and report on the impact of implemented strategies by gathering required research, collating, analyzing, and reporting by agreed deadlines.Business Development ObjectivesContribute toward the attainment of Philanthropy Centre new income target as set by the Business.Entrench the business development process throughout the Group's business segments.Contribute to the overall growth of the business.Update competitor research regularly.Deliver strategic research projects on time and within budget.Provide support and guidance to clients on giving strategies.Assist clients in establishing appropriate giving structures in line with their objectives.Qualifications and Experience3-5 years of senior client relationship/account management experience.In-depth knowledge of social investment planning strategies and techniques, tax rules relating to Public Benefit Organisations, and experience in developing and implementing operational programmes and solutions within the development space.Analytic and organizational skills required to research and resolve inquiries and manage conflicting priorities, multiple projects, and varied workflow.Strong writing and presentation skills for client presentations, internal training, and development of marketing and sales materials.Leadership skills, specifically meeting facilitation and conflict resolution, required to identify client goals and objectives.Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with senior executives, high-net-worth individuals, and families (clients), internal partners, and professional advisors.Project Management experience.Prior experience in business consulting or development preferred.Job DetailsTake note that applications will not be accepted after the closing date indicated below.
