Our client is a global investment manager with 25+ local offices and substantial assets under management. They are creating a regulatory reporting team in Compliance to handle all regulatory reporting obligations. This role is crucial for implementing an efficient reporting framework. The candidate will ensure timely compliance, reducing inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and delays in submissions to regulators.What you'll do:As a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will be involved in the collation, processing and reporting of fund, investor, portfolio, and corporate data points to global regulators. You will work closely with other Compliance colleagues across the network.Assisting with global regulatory reporting obligations across the networkCo-ordinating reporting obligations in the EU and UK under the Alternative Fund Managers Directive and the Alternative Investment Fund Managers RegulationsAssisting in the sourcing, collation and efficient management of fund, investor, portfolio, and firm level data points required for reporting purposesAnalysis of data to identify and escalate anomalies or notable variances from prior year dataMonitoring activities such as fund launches, private equity transactions, assets under management thresholds, leverage arrangements, etc. to identify potential new regulatory reporting obligationsAdvising colleagues on interpretation of regulatory reporting rules and guidanceCollaboration with teams and functions, including but not limited to the Legal, Portfolio Monitoring and Investment TeamsWhat you bring:Academic qualification such as a university degree or with appropriate professional qualificationsPrior experience in the finance and preferably funds industry, ideally working across multiple jurisdictionsA good understanding of private equity and credit fund structuresExperience dealing with high volumes of data and complex rules or standardsFamiliarity with US, EU and UK fund manager regulations such as the Investment Advisors Act (US), Alternative Investment Managers Directive (EU) and Alternative Investment Managers Regulations (UK)Strong digital skills including proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite of products in particular ExcelWhat sets this company apart:Our client values the benefits diversity within the firm and would love to hear from all applicants that would be excited in working in their team that have much of what they are looking for and may be looking for a stretch role to develop their career.
