Council committees) in executing their functions in terms of the ICASA Act  Provide legal advice to Council, CEO, COO, EXCO/OPCO and Regulatory divisions on regulatory matters Draft regulations and regulatory documents/notices  Monitor and provide input, where necessary, regarding draft legislation that may have an impact on ICASA 's mandate  Represent ICASA at national & international meetings and forums  Perform Compliance and Risk Management functions  Draft Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) with local and international regulatory authorities (incl.
International bilateral agreements)  Conduct training, workshops or presentations on topical regulatory legal matters.
Qualifications and Experience:  Honours/ 4year degree in Law (NQF Level 8)  Admitted attorney/ advocate  Minimum 4 years practicing as an attorney, advocate and/or legal specialist; alternatively minimum 2 years practicing as an attorney, advocate and/or legal specialist and not less than 2 years' experience in ICT regulatory  Experience with handling litigation and drafting contracts/legislation  Solid regulatory/ICT acumen (distinct/added advantage) Law / Legal  jobs
