Job Title: Registration Admissions Officers
Varsity College is an educational brand of The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE). The IIE enjoys the reputation of being at the forefront of private higher education in South Africa, and is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to provide higher education qualifications accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE).
We are looking for suitably qualified candidates to work during our registration period. These will be contract roles for the following vacancy:
Registration Admissions Officer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Checking qualification entrance criteria
Checking and approval of module selection
Module amendments for student registration
Calling students for retention purposes
Collection and uploading of documents after academic counselling
Assisting with student registration in the registration room
Providing online/telephonic support for student registration
Ad hoc admin/registration assistance
Competencies Required:
Superior interpersonal and communications skills
Computer proficiency
Planning skills
Time management skills
Deadline and results driven
Best suited to a friendly, organised and systematic person who has an eye for detail and who works accurately and is able to handle pressure
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Minimum of a Degree
Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years administrative experience (ideally with admissions experience)
