Registered Theatre Nurse (Health)

Our client in the Health Industry is looking to hire a Registered Theatre Nurse.Skills and ResponsibilitiesPractice patient care according to his/her Scope of Practice and assumes total responsibility for these activities.Be active in preparing the theatre, and replenishment of stock, consignment and instrument replenishment of the operating room allocated for a procedure list.Take responsibility for own nursing actions and professional conduct.Contribute to the holistic care of patients.Damp dust your unit before your day's task starts.Check that the scrub area is clean and properly stocked.Practice the principles of infection prevention and all Standard precautions.Comply with documentation policy.Ensure that all documentation is maintained accurately and timeously reflecting theatre procedures and care in a chronological manner.RequirementsGrade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.Relevant registration at SANC as Registered Nurse.Diploma in General Nursing.A Diploma or Certificate in Operating Theatre Technique would be advantageous.Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.Floor nurse and Anesthetic experience essential.Experience within private hospital environment advantageous.Skilled in all basic nursing procedures as well as procedures specific to the operating theatre environment.Send your CV and latest pay slip to ****** 2024-01-23
