Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Registered Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team in Bloemfontein.
This role is ideal for an experienced professional looking to make an impact in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Conduct detailed analysis and measurements of plans to develop accurate Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
Compile and submit tender documents to clients.
Manage the financial aspects of projects, including valuations and payment certifications.
Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate project timelines and costs.
Monitor site progress and manage cost deviations to ensure projects stay within budget.
Provide advice on contractual issues and claims management.
Compile final accounts and manage project close-out documentation.
Requirements BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) with SACQSP.
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
Solid understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience in managing commercial projects is a plus.
