Registered Nurse - Um Medical Ward

Chief Purpose: - To ensure a high-quality, safe patient care experience that aligns with established clinical standards by effectively managing human and organizational resources within a structured unit.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe patient care by adhering to clinical quality standards and following company policies and procedures.Identify, manage, and mitigate clinical risks within the unit.Provide leadership and effective management to the unit's staff.Oversee the unit's operational and capital expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial and budget guidelines and the efficient use of resources.Actively contribute to enhancing the patient experience within the hospital.Collaborate to achieve interdepartmental goals and outcomes.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.Education Required3- or 4-year Diploma or a 4-year Degree in Nursing; Qualification in nursing education or nursing administration/management (advantageous)Experience Required At least 5 years of professional nursing experience in a hospital setting, with 2-3 years in a leadership role.Experience in Infection Prevention and Control and Clinical Facilitation (advantageous)Job Skills and KnowledgeAuditing and accreditation processesClinical risk managementProficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacyContinuous improvement and quality assurance methodologiesFinancial management principlesIn-depth knowledge of the healthcare industryHuman resource management, including employee relationsInfection prevention and control practicesStaff productivity managementComprehensive nursing functional knowledgePatient complaint managementFamiliarity with relevant nursing legislation
