Registered Nurse - Theatre (Qualified)

Duties & Responsibilities:Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating theatre.Competently administering Intravenous and Intramuscular medicationEnsure that health care is provided to all patients according to company policies, procedures, and standards.Plan, organize and ensure control of all activities within the framework of the position and that staff adheres to the companies' policies, procedures and standards.Ensure that skills development plans are in place for staff and continuous training is provided according to the need.Ensure that all quality standards and control measures are known and that it is adhered to.To contribute actively to teamwork and ensure efficiency of the team on a continuous basis.Requirements:Diploma/Degree as a Registered Nurse with experience in Theatre Nursing Current Registration with SANC as a Registered NurseMinimum 2 years experience in an Operating TheatreDiploma in Operating Theatre Nursing Science is essentialTheatre Scrubbing skills is essential2 years of experience in a private hospital setting.Flexible in working hours/Shifts
